Paging all FCIM Alumni!
We hereby cordially invite you to a very special celebration on October 24, 2015, when the Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) will celebrate its 25th anniversary of being the premier higher-learning institution for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Central Florida and the Southeastern United States. On this festive occasion, the entire alternative healthcare industry across America will also be celebrating the National Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day (AOM Day), which will commemorate the tremendous growth of alternative healthcare in America and promote the future of Acupuncture and Alternative Medicine as they become more and more integral to America’s fast-evolving healthcare landscape.
The all-day event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at our beautiful campus on the shore of Lake Ellenor, conveniently located at 7100 Lake Ellenor Dr., Orlando, FL 32809. Attendees will be treated to a diverse program of arts & crafts, international cuisine, community clinic, free Acupuncture trials, lectures on holistic living, plus many other exciting activities that are fun for the whole family, adults and children alike! We welcome everyone who is interested in or curious about alternative healthcare to join us and anticipate well over 300 attendees throughout the day.
As part of the event, we will host the inaugural FCIM Excellence Awards to recognize alumni and friends of FCIM for their outstanding achievements and services to the community. All winners will receive a physical prize and their names and bios will be featured on FCIM’s alumni’s webpage.
In addition, we warmly welcome all alumni to participate in the following events:
· Community Clinic – A great way to showcase your skills, promote your business, sell packages (detox, specialty treatment, etc.), make new contacts and spread your BIG IDEAS!
· Become a Vendor – Sign up to be a vendor of wellness items, arts & crafts, or any other product that is meaningfully related to the spirit of our celebration.
· Sponsorship – An affordable way to advertise your business and/or personal message. Depending on your contribution, you will receive ad space in our event booklet, other on-site space to advertise your business and more!
· Community Classes – Never stop learning! We offer free classes for: Acupressure on Facial Rejuvenation, Natural Herbal Tea Workshop, as well as Tai Qi.
· CE Classes – Free CEU credit class taught by President Dr. Lowei (Larry) Han.
This event will be a great opportunity to interact with potential new clients, reconnect with former classmates, showcase your ideas to the community or simply enjoy a fun day of celebrating the very rewarding profession of Acupuncture and Alternative Medicine. As spaces are limited for sponsors, vendors, Community Clinic participants and CEU credit class attendees, please register for these events before September 15!
